If I could eat blue cheese and hot sauce on every thing….Lord knows I would. Combined in a sandwich you said?……ohhhh I am THERE! This quick 16 minute meal will have your family begging for more!
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced in half
- 4 sandwich buns
- 1/4 tsp each of garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and paprika mixed together
- Jar of blue cheese dressing( Trader Joe’s is UNCOMPARABLE!)
- 1/2 cup of Frank’s red hot
- 2 tbsp butter
- Sandwich/Hamburger Buns
- Red onion
Set a grill pan on medium high heat and oil it with a little olive oil. Slice two chicken breasts in half and sprinkle combined seasonings on both sides. Prep your veggies and slice some red onion, tomato and lettuce.
When the pan is up to temperature, grill chicken on both sides for about 3 minutes each side. While the chicken is cooking, melt two tbsp of butter in a small saucepan and add a 1/2 a cup of Frank’s Red Hot while whisking to combine.
After the chicken is cooked, dip the breasts in the buffalo sauce coating thoroughly.
Spread blue cheese (or ranch if preferred) on both top and bottom of bun, laying veggie toppings on the bottom bun.
